At Alton Cars we fully appreciate how important it is to keep you mobile. So when your vehicle is with us, you can have one of our courtesy cars free of charge, keeping you on the road*. We’ve invested in over 450 courtesy vehicles across our repair network and can offer a range of options, with all cars less than 12 months old:
Before issuing courtesy vehicles, our Customer Service Advisors or Drivers have to perform certain checks:
We must validate the drivers licenses (both parts where applicable) of the policyholder and associated named driver(s) that intend to use the courtesy vehicle.
Confirm there is valid insurance cover. If we’re an approved repairer for your insurance company, then typically your insurance cover will automatically transfer onto the courtesy car. All other customer are required to self-insure our courtesy cars and we need to see a copy of the temporary cover note.
We may need to swipe or take details of a debit or credit card to cover any potential charges.
Whilst in possession of a courtesy vehicle, please respect the following terms and conditions:
We’re proud to supply best in class courtesy cars and whilst they can potentially be a step down for some customers, can we politely remind you that they satisfy your insurance policy entitlement.
